The home inspection report will be available the same day. The North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board allows no later than 72 hours for report to be sent to client.
The home inspection varies depending on several factors. Please take into consideration the year, square footage, and if the property is vacant or occupied. Also please consider if the property is a condo, townhome or duplex. Properties with attic space, a crawlspace or basement will also require more time. The time varies from 1hr for a small condo up to several hours for larger properties. We average 2-3 hours per home inspection.
A home inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home, often in connection with the sale of that home. Home inspections are usually conducted my a home inspector who has the training and certifications to perform such inspections. It does NOT guarantee that the home complies with building codes or protect you in the event an item inspected fails in the future. No home inspection should be considered a “technically exhaustive” evaluation; rather, it is an evaluation of the property on the day it is inspected, taking into consideration normal wear and tear.
